DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES IN THE FORMATION OF CONCEPTS OF “SUCCESS” IN TEACHING ENGLISH IN THE HIGHER EDUCATION SYSTEM

The aim of this study is to examine the impact of digital technologies on the formation of students’ perceptions of the concept of “success” among third -year students in the context of learning English in higher education. The study employed a mixed -methods approach, including quantitative methods (questi onnaires, motivation and self -assessment tests) and qualitative methods (semi -structured interviews and analysis of students’ written reflections). The results indicated that the integration of digital tools into the learning process contributes to a more positive and concrete perception of success, increasing students’ motivation and confidence in learning English. Qualitative analysis revealed key thematic categories of success perception, such as achievement of learning goals, development of language ski lls, and personal satisfaction with the learning process. The study has practical implications for educators and developers of digital educational platforms, providing recommendations for the effective use of technologies in shaping a constructive understa nding of “success” among students.
