Rules for Manuscript Submission

Submission of the manuscript.

When submitting a manuscript, you must guarantee that you are sending your

original work, that you have the rights to this work, that you are submitting this work

for first-time publication in this journal, and that this work is not being considered

for publication in other journals or publications. Upon submission to the editorial

office, the originality of the text must be verified through a plagiarism detection

system and presented with the verification results, with the work's originality being

no less than 75%. The article must be approved by all authors and the organization

where the work was conducted. The organization's consent is proven by a referral

letter from management. The manuscript can be submitted in Uzbek, Russian, or

English.

What do we publish?

The scientific-electronic journal "Komparativistika" (Comparative Studies)

publishes relevant and scientifically based scientific-practical research in the field

of philology conducted by professors and teachers of higher educational institutions

of the Republic of Uzbekistan and foreign countries, as well as independent

researchers, in the form of scientific articles. These articles are contributed by

professors and instructors from higher educational institutions in the Republic of

Uzbekistan and internationally, as well as by independent researchers. All

submissions to the journal are reviewed by the editorial board, and only scientific

articles approved by reviewers are accepted. The journal welcomes scientific articles

in the following fields and topics:

• Comparative literature

• Translation studies

• Literary theory

• World literature

• Contrastive linguistics

• Uzbek and foreign literature

The journal considers the following types of articles for publication:

As scientific articles:1. Original research article (comprising 3,000 to 6,000 words, with more than 15

cited sources);

2. Analytical article (comprising 6,000 to 9,000 words, with more than 60 cited

sources).

As scientific conference abstracts:

A scientific conference abstract of 1 to 3 pages (comprising 300 to 1,000 words)

presenting hypotheses about existing problems in the aforementioned fields and their

solutions. It is recommended that the scientific conference abstracts focus, to the

extent possible, on real problems faced by existing production enterprises and their

potential solutions.

Peer review process.

The journal employs a double-blind review process, where the reviewer's name is

not disclosed to the author, and the author's name is not disclosed to the reviewer.

Reviewers may choose to include their name in the review at their discretion. Each

article is evaluated by at least two reviewers. All manuscripts are reviewed as

promptly as possible, with editorial decisions typically made within 4-6 weeks.

The final decision to accept an article for publication rests with the editorial

board.

Publishing ethics.

The journal strives to ensure the protection of academic research. The editorial

board adheres to the principles of "Publishing Ethics." The article aims to prevent

the use of materials from other authors published in academic and current

publications, as well as materials by the author of this work. Brief quotes and

sentences from other sources should be properly cited. The editorial board reserves

the right to verify the submitted article for plagiarism
