The main objective of the study is to identify the aesthetic mechanisms of the synthesis between the real and the fantastical worlds , using J.K. Rowlingʻs Harry Potter series as a case study. The article raises issues regarding the functional necessity of realism elements and authentic details within the fantasy discourse, as well as the internal logic and axiological credibility of th e fictional universe constructed by the author. The methodological framework of the study is based on Mikhail M. Bakhtinʼs concept of the chronotype, principles of poetic analysis, and an intertextual approach. The conducted analysis demonstrates that the aesthetic appeal of contemporary fantasy works emerges precisely through the construction of fantastical spatiotemporal models organically integrated with realistic components. In conclusion, it is emphasized that in order to create a convincing poetic mod el within the fantasy genre, it is essential to maintain a harmonious interplay between the internal logic of the fictional world and the laws of the real world.
