The article analyzes the literary heritage of the writer Sinclair Lewis, who made a significant contribution to the American novel of the twentieth century. In particular, brief information is given about Lewis's popular novel "Ann Vickers", created in 1933. The main character of these works, Ann Vickers, and the social problems depicted through her - the place of women in modern society, the balance of family and profession, gender relations - are artistically illuminated. The article analyzes the artistic features of this character and the significance of it in Sinclair Lewis' oeuvre. S. EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF THE CREATION OF DYSTOPIC NOVEL IN ENGLISH LITERATURE

The article deals with the stages of development of the dystopian novel in English literature and the factors that caused it, the unhealthy social, economic, political, cultural and psychological environment in the world that became the subject of dystopian works, the problems of the unstable development of science and technology and their description in dystopian works. The abilities of English authors H.G. Wells, Edward Morgan Forster, Aldous Huxley, George Orwell, Anthony Burgess and Kazuo Ishiguro to write dystopian works, as well as the artistic originality of their works are analyzed. The article reflects the scientific and theoretical views of world literary scholars on the dystopian works of these authors. The author of the article expressed a scientific and theoretical attitude to the development of dystopia in English literature and its artistic and aesthetic value. To conduct the research, biographical, comparative typological, psychoanalytic, psychological, cultural-historical, and structural methods of analysis were used. The purpose of the article is to study the factors that influenced the creation of dystopian novels and stories in English literature and their historical evolution, as well as to study the essence of the scientific phenomenon of dystopian works in modern literary processes.

TRANSLATION IS AN OBJECT OF COMPARATIVE LITERATURE

Translation is an object of national linguistics, as well as literary studies, literary studies - comparative literary studies. Because it uses a framework to compare the work and the translation. A researcher who studies translation from the point of view of comparative literature should be familiar with these theoretical literatures, clearly understand what to compare and develop in the original work and the translation. In the third article, the object of comparative literary studies is the translation of some of the poet's ghazals into Russian by Baburologist I.V. was interpreted and analyzed based on the translations made by Stebleva. The study of Babur's work occupies a special place in the scientist's scientific heritage. In the article, it is proved that the verses of the ghazal have been wrongly translated in some places, which has caused them to be misinterpreted. Instead, the text of the ghazals in I.V. Stebleva's book was compared and identified with the translations of the Russian scientist, Baburologist A.N. Samoylovich, kept in the archives of the Russian Academy of Sciences. , I.V.
