This article examines the metaphorical representation of inner - world concepts in English and Uzbek literary discourse through a linguocultural and cognitive lens. The study aims to identify metaphorical models of inner-world concepts (such as love, fear, hope, and sorrow) and to conduct a comparative analysis of their interpretations across cultures. The research employs cognitive metaphor analysis, linguocultural, discourse, and comparative methods. The findings demonstrate that inner world concepts in bot h English and Uzbek are largely formed on the basis of universal cognitive models; however, their linguocultural realization differs. In English literary discourse, emotions are more often conceptualized as external forces, whereas in Uzbek they are predominantly represented as internal states. Metaphors function as an essential component of the conceptual system and play a key role in shaping emotional and axiological meanings. The results of the study can be applied in linguocultural studies, translation studies, and literary discourse analysis to determine conceptual equivalence.
