This article examines the artistic interpretation of Alisher Navoiy’s personality through the example of L.G. Bat’s novella “The Garden of Life” and Oybek’s novel “Navoiy”. The main goal of the research is to determine the influence of the author’s type of thinking and worldview on the ways of artistic depiction of a historical figure. The relationship between the writer’s artistic and scientific thinking type and the peculiarities of Alisher Navoi’s image interpretation in the literary text is considered a s a scientific problem. The methodological basis of the research is the comparative -literary analysis, historical-literary approach, and methods of interpreting the literary text. The analysis results show that in the novella by L.G. Bat, the image of Navo i is revealed mainly through artistic scenes, psychological details, and extensive descriptions that emphasize the poetic nature of the great thinker’s personality. In Oybek’s novel, the emphasis is on historical accuracy and the portrayal of Navoiy as a statesman and public figure. Thus, the artistic interpretation of the poet’s personality is determined by the author’s type of thinking. In conclusion, it is noted that L.G. Bat’s work reflects the artistic type of worldview, while Aibek’s novel is characterized by scientific accuracy and documentary nature..
