This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the history of research on the works of Yunus Emre and the development of bibliographic studies devoted to his literary heritage. It examines the scholarly contributions of prominent Turkish and international researchers, including Mehmed Fuad Köprülü, Abdülbaki Gölpınarlı, Mustafa Tatçı, Talât Sait Halman, Annemarie Schimmel, Louis Bazin, Yusuf Subaşı, Umay Günay, and Osman Horata, whose studies have significantly advanced the understanding of Yunus Emreʼs poetry and Sufi thought. Particular attention is paid to the critical editions, manuscript tradition, and textual studies of Dîvân and Risâletüʼn-Nushiyye, highlighting their importance for modern textual scholarship. The article further explores the evolution of bibliographic and bibliometric research related to Yunus Emre, focusing on the bibliographic compilations prepared by Mustafa Tatçı and Suzan Gürelli as well as the recent bibliographic and bibliometric analyses conducted by Gökhan Coşgun, Metin Yıldırım, Beytullah Karagöz, and İzzet Şeref. It argues that these studies have played a crucial role in organizing the existing body of scholarship, identifying major research trends, and establishing a solid methodological foundation for future investigations into Yunus Emreʼs literary and intellectual legacy.
