The objective of this article is to examine the scientific research and findings of English scientists who have studied sufism, and to assess their impact on the growing interest in sufism in Western countries. Although sufism and sufi literature have been present in Muslim nations for centuries, they have also garnered the interest of Western academics in the past century. Many European and American researchers, especially British scientists, have made significant contributions to the field of sufism. Through their academic articles, research and books on this subject, they have played a crucial role in spreading the understanding of sufism in Western countries and in developing appropriate notions of sufism.
