Comparative Studies

"KOMPARATIVISTIKA" (Comparative Studies) is a scientific journal

designed for professionals in the field of philology. The journal publishes results of

topical and scientifically based studies in the field of philology.

The journal primarily accepts articles based on topical and research-based scientific

and practical research in the field of philology, specializing in "Comparative

Literature, Contrastive Linguistics, and Translation Studies" (10.00.06). Articles are

published in Uzbek, Russian, and English languages. Materials submitted to the

editorial office undergo expert review by the journalʼs editorial board. Articles

approved by the editorial board are published in the journal.

"KOMPARATIVISTIKA" (Comparative Studies) is a scientific journal intended for

researchers in the field of philology.

State registered by the Information and Mass Communications Agency under the

Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan on April 18, 2024 with

number 258331.

The scientific journal "KOMPARATIVISTIKA" (Comparative Studies) has been

established at the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages as part of an

innovative project. This project, numbered IL-27-4722022413, aims to create an

electronic platform called "Komparativistika" for the field of Comparative

Literature. The project is scheduled for implementation from 2023 to 2025 within

the framework of state scientific and technical programs.

The journal published since 2024.

Purpose of the journal

The purpose of the journal is to publish the results of current and evidence-based

scientific and practical research in the field of philology and bring them to the reader.

The List of Supreme Attestation Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan

The scientific journal "Komparativistika" (Comparative Studies) has been included

in the list of national publications recommended by the Higher Attestation

Commission for publishing the main scientific results of dissertations in philological

sciences. This decision was made by the Presidium of the Higher Attestation

Commission through Resolution No. 365/7 dated February 12, 2025.Publication language

The journal and its articles are published in Uzbek, Russian and English languages.

The journal mainly publishes articles in the field of 10.00.06 - Comparative

Literature, Comparative Linguistics and Translation Studies.

Open Access

Published issues of the journal and articles in it are open and free of charge.

Published publications are placed in the archive section of the website.

Review Policy

All submitted manuscripts will be sent for review without any attribution. (blind

review) Only articles recommended for publication by the reviewer and received a

positive review are published.

Checking for plagiarism

All articles submitted to the editorial office are checked in a special anti-plagiarism

programme and the level of appropriation should not exceed 15-20 per cent

(originality should be 80 per cent).

Publication frequency

As a rule, the Journal is published once every three months. Additional and special

issues of the journal may also be published on the recommendation of the editorial

board.
